rustrocket
I'm looking to make some cement spheres (from 120-300 lbs), for strongman style stone lifting. I'm worried about the spheres cracking or breaking if i drop it on my patio, or driveway. Can somebody tell me if there's anything i can mix with the cement to lessen the chances of this happening? Thanks.
Kevin Shasteen
I'ld get the ph# off the cement bags and call them for specifics. If anyone would know what additives would help or compromise their products - they would. Kevin, (Yea,Still an Inliner)
Pop N Wood
In addition to an additive coat them with rino liner. They sprayed all the concrete block walls in the Pentagon to keep the concrete from becoming shrapnel in an attack. Also use a lot of chicken wire or rebar when you cast them
4everDATSUN
im pretty sure the concrete pros use rebar or fiberglass strand to prevent from cracking
naviathan
My guess would be chicken wire reinforcement with a fiberglass and rubber shell.
lbhsbZ
I'd be more worried about your patio or driveway cracking
