CalifaThugz
Will these rims clear a 280z with Arizona Z car 4 piston front and rear brakes and the bolt patterns and hubs and the Coilover suspension also from http://arizonazcar.com/ I want to know because I really plan on getting these because I saw a 240z I think it was on best stock looking fender and I just wanted to get them. Also wanted to know if someone else has used these? http://www.autornd.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=14_8857&products_id=167 Thanks! -Victor S. CalifaThugz
Also what offset would be good to get 10 or 20 offset?
jtmny1999
16 inch rims should clear the Wilwood calipers. As for the offset both are not ideal for a Z. But you can maybe run adapters.
CalifaThugz
What size adapters would be good?
CalifaThugz
Wait adapters or spacers?
jtmny1999
Not sure you have to do some calculations. Since stock is what 6 inch and 0 offset... Well they sell Honda adapters maybe that will be easier for you. Edit: the spacers you would have to run would be about a inch tick so those rims won't be good for a Z. vashonz
With a +10 or +20 offset wheel you do not need spacers. Stock 280zxt wheel was 15x6+10, fit just fine with stock suspension, looked good. Right now I'm running 16x8+30 front and 16x8.5 +20 rear using AZC front brakes and hubs, with stock rear setup. Coilovers all around. Another 10 or 20 mm up front (ie 16x8 +10 or +20) up front would leave plenty of room and fill out the fender nicely. The rears are pretty perfect. Keep in mind that by using the AZC front hubs it moved the mating surface out a little, IE I was able to use a higher offset wheel.
pete280z
stock is what 6 inch and 0 offset... I wish people would stop repeating this. Stock 280z wheels were 14x6 with +15 offset. CalifaThugz - this was more than covered in the two other Rota Grid threads. Search.
CalifaThugz
I did search but my internet kept going down and I tried searching for like 30 min this morning and like an hour when I came out of school. Thanks though Pete S I'm going to get them.
pete280z
They are a good looking wheel, especially for the price we got a while back. Be sure to post with what you wind up paying for them. There seems to be interest off and on for these.
CalifaThugz
Yea If I get the 5,000 tomorrow I'm going for the Wilwood 4 piston all round brakes and a coilver setup and I'll get the rims. I'm going to get them no matter the price.
