Rota Grid Rims

Recommended Posts

Will these rims clear a 280z with Arizona Z car 4 piston front and rear brakes and the bolt patterns and hubs and the Coilover suspension also from http://arizonazcar.com/

I want to know because I really plan on getting these because I saw a 240z I think it was on best stock looking fender and I just wanted to get them.

Also wanted to know if someone else has used these? http://www.autornd.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=14_8857&products_id=167

Thanks!

Not sure you have to do some calculations. Since stock is what 6 inch and 0 offset... Well they sell Honda adapters maybe that will be easier for you.

Edit: the spacers you would have to run would be about a inch tick so those rims won't be good for a Z.

With a +10 or +20 offset wheel you do not need spacers.

Stock 280zxt wheel was 15x6+10, fit just fine with stock suspension, looked good.

Right now I'm running 16x8+30 front and 16x8.5 +20 rear using AZC front brakes and hubs, with stock rear setup. Coilovers all around.

Another 10 or 20 mm up front (ie 16x8 +10 or +20) up front would leave plenty of room and fill out the fender nicely. The rears are pretty perfect.

Keep in mind that by using the AZC front hubs it moved the mating surface out a little, IE I was able to use a higher offset wheel.
