bluez Posted June 5, 2007 Author Share Posted June 5, 2007 yes you are right i will have to bit the bullet and buy the forged piston,i just call dave he does not have any right now and dont know when he is going to get them back.now the question is should i go 89mm with pistons or just be safe with 88mm and what specs should i gave the company size,pin height what else would i be miss. jmortensen are you running forged piston and rods what is your car set up i know you are on the track.thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JMortensen Posted June 5, 2007 Share Posted June 5, 2007 I've got stock cast flat top pistons on L28 rods and L28 crank. When I built my engine I was REALLY poor, so did a lot of the work on the combustion chambers and notched the block and deburred it and all that myself, but the bottom end is basically as stock as it gets, although it was balanced.
