yes you are right i will have to bit the bullet and buy the forged piston,i just call dave he does not have any right now and dont know when he is going to get them back.now the question is should i go 89mm with pistons or just be safe with 88mm and what specs should i gave the company size,pin height what else would i be miss. jmortensen are you running forged piston and rods what is your car set up i know you are on the track.thanks

I've got stock cast flat top pistons on L28 rods and L28 crank. When I built my engine I was REALLY poor, so did a lot of the work on the combustion chambers and notched the block and deburred it and all that myself, but the bottom end is basically as stock as it gets, although it was balanced.

i read many thread when you spoke about geting a bigger cam,just like me many people say go with mild cam it would be good for the city street.i want to take your advise and go with the cam i have 520'-292" than have to do things twice.
