COmputoman
This all started a long time ago. In the begining stages of this issue my ebrake light would turn on when making turns. seemed as if the G's from making the turn would pull the ebrake line or something. Now the ebrake light is on constantly. I have yet to research into the root of this issue. Has anyone ever came across this issue in the past? Thanks! Thumper
There is a switch under the e-brake lever that gets grounded when the lever is lifted. Check to see if you have a short to ground. Also on 280zx's and newer z's check your brake fluid level. If it is too low that can be it.

dimsum
I agree. My guess is that you have a newer Z with low brake fluid. There is a switch under the e-brake lever that gets grounded when the lever is lifted. Check to see if you have a short to ground. Also on 280zx's and newer z's check your brake fluid level. trwebb26
You may have old brake fluid - and there is electricity passing through it in the low-level brake fluid switch. I had to flush all of my fluid out and replace it with new to get my low-level switch to behave properly.
