Fab mounts for coilovers

I am posting this here because I think its a better location than in the suspension section and my search lead to no joy.

I aquired a 1975 280Z (about 6 hours ago) and have been searching for a set of coilovers similar to the Stance gr+ I have on my 240sx. nothing exists that I have been able to locate with out cutting this or welding that or buying something that some one else has modified.

With that out of the way I have decided to modify the front and rear suspension to handle a commercially available coilover suspension such as the Stance I have on my 240sx. I think that it will be as easy as welding on some brackets for the coilovers to bolt on to.

Has anyone else done or heard of this?

I still wonder if theres a way to weld in mounts to use the stance suspension (I am sponsored and get them for free) and I dont know if those arizonas will be enough for drifting.
