So I work at a large Nissan Dealership in Chandler AZ. I went up to the drive to talk to one of the service advisors when out on the drive I saw heaven. A 1972 240z completely original. It was brought in by a 70 something y-o lady. She said she bought it originally here in az right out of the showroom. She had just pulled it out of storage after 15 years of sitting. the odometed showed 44392 it had original paint! Dual su Stock everything. The carbs need adjustment but everything else works. It even had the funky wire wheel covers.

I begged and begged but she wont sell it. :icon45:

Wow... You might want to help her register her car on this site...http://zhome.com/. On the left side drop down and click on Z Car Registers. On the right side click on The Original Owner's 240 Z Register. There are only 160 some original 240 Z owners registered.

One of these days i must see your skylines. I get so jealous when i see the pics or your videos. As im sure you know we have a 240sx with an rb20 and were building an rb26 in the garage right now so seeing your cars will only fuel the fire of inspiration :)

Two guys in my Z car club (ZROC) in NW Ohio, bought their 72 240Zs from the same dealership in Okinowa Japan while they were in the service doing practically the same job, at the same military base, but didn't know each other, because one left for home just before the other arrived for duty.

They still both own their very nice, and original Zs, and just met for the first time last year and had alot to talk about
