Guest TeamNissan
Anyone seen or owned one? I'm just curious to know how well nissan themselves restored them.
JMortensen
Go search over at classiczcars.com. I bet they have tons of info. I saw one in person at Nissan headquarters about 10 years ago. It was a stock Z. It looked nice, but for $25K I was thinking about how fast I could have made my car with the same $$$.
Guest TeamNissan
Ya I wouldn't buy one lol, no point. I'm just curious is all.
MrFancypants
Sat in one in LA 4-5 years ago at the NISSAN collectors garage they have there. It was a gorgeous silver with black interior. Probably one of main reasons I own a Z today - Greg -
MY77Z
25000?? i would rather buy a 77 280z, fully restore it, ls2/T56 it, turbocharge it, 8.8 shortened and voila the 25000 dollars
jt1
I used to own a 71 VintageZ. It was a very, very, nice restoration with a ton of attention to details. It literally looked like a brand new car. When I picked it up at Courtesy Nissan, they had it in the center of the showroom, and it looked right at home. The Vintage cars aren't perfectly correct restorations, that is not everything is just like a new 71 was delivered, but they are nice cars. John Was it orange, sitting to the left of the main entrance to the show room?
jt1
The one I owned was 903 blue. I think Courtesy sold about 12 or 15 of the Vintage cars, well more than any other dealer. John

jt1
be careful with the "f-word" Huh?????? jt
COZY Z COLE
be careful with the "f-word" I think he's refering to the use of "factory" restored being used. As Jon said go to classiczcars.com and search for this subject. They beat this subject to death over there and it's something we don't need to do here... jt1
Oh, THAT f-word....I'm a little slow this morning. I agree that's been beat to death many times. jt
qwik240z
When I was searching for a 240Z back in 2003, I found one of the "F" word cars and almost bought it. I changed my mind once I drove it. It was a snail. I would never have been happy with it as a performance car. And I would not have had the heart to make any mods to it. jt1
To the word, that's why I sold mine. Plus, I was always scared of the first door ding or gravel chip. I almost never drove it. That car made me realize I'm an enthusist, not a collector. It sure was pretty though. John
