bobbyc Posted July 26, 2007 Share Posted July 26, 2007 i'm mounting my hx35 to my z...i'm startin on the DP and it runs awful close to the steering coupler...like 3/8" away from coupler...it never comes in contact but i'm wondering if heat would be an issue with the poly steering coupler i have. My MSA piece is made out of a solid plastic that doens't look too heat sensitive. One Canadian member even used a hockey puck as a coupler. Pretty cool, eh? I'm close to the block/transmission, steering rod and coupler...I crammed a 4" mandrel pipe down through mine... this was during mock up... it's now been ceramic coated, just waiting to get it back.
