christoc
I have Z31 downpipe/elbow on my 83 L28ET motor, that's all I have right now, I went to a muffler shop today and asked about getting some pipes put up there, the owner said I need to bring them a downpipe flange and they can build something from there. I've been searching for 30 minutes but haven't found a source yet other than possibly this page but I'm not sure of the exact specs. http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/trbflg.html Can anyone suggest where I might look for a flange? MoNkEyT88
I don't know which flange you're exactly looking for. But, these are the flanges I use when building exhaust systems. (Not the turbo flange, but two bolt for exhaust) http://vertexnow.com/Verocious-Motorsports/Flanges-and-Gaskets
steveosupremeo
we are referring to the one that bolts to the factory internal wastegate housing
wigenOut-S30
Yeah Nissan and garrett thought it would be a great idea and use a off center design on the wastegate houseing flange. I know somone was making a run of these at one time.. I think the best bet would be to either find a gasket or trace it all out and take it somewhere to get CNC'ed or jet cut. Hopfully someone who has had these made before will look into this thred. Good luck guys and let us all know if you find anything out.. christoc
Well, I did some rough measuring tonight and it looks like the bolts are 3.75" center to center, so I don't think the one I linked to in my first post will work
christoc
Can anyone confirm the ID of the Z31 downpipe? Is it 2.5" or 3" If 3" I think I've found a source!
christoc
I'm looking at this http://www.himni-racing.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_30&products_id=
steveosupremeo
i had thought of using a z31 downpipe myself, i know the outlet is 3 inches but i'm still wondering about the inlet next to the turbo.
