Nismo280zEd
anybody used these? sell for 174 in new catalog.. MSA drop springs.. suposedly lower 1.5" I'm gonna get 17's and am debating expensive coilovers.. or these
jaime240z
Ed, I don't have the msa springs but I'm also planning to use 17" wheels. I've learned that with coil-overs you will be able to use wider wheels (8 or 9" wide instead of 7")Is the extra inch or two width worth it? I'm leaning to yes. Nismo280zEd
maybe you can explain your logic... i'm getn a set of ADR Rydox 17x7 for 699 w/ tires and then spacers for about 200 a pair.. now coilovers would be 400 plus another 300 for camber plates? or does your math add up cheaper? very curious soureyecandy@hotmail.com ED
Guest scca
i've put msa springs in 2 cars and both werent happy- one has already upgraded to coilovers and teh other will be doing it soon
jaime240z
I think your prices are about right, Ed. I've been weighing out the pro's and prices to doing the conversion. I've already got lowering spring with new stock rep. struts, susp./tech. sway bar set, energy bush. through the whole car. I've decided I might as well spend a little more money now than want to do it all over again in 6 months. IMO anyways.
Mike C
For a daily driver, I like the Suspension Techniques springs, and they were only $120 from SUmmit for all 4.
