Challenger
Looks really good. Im at about the same stage all the detachable body parts are almost ready to be painted and well be taking the car out next week for body work. Arent you supposed to paint the whole car at one time so the paint all looks the same?
coyotegary
there are no set rules for painting. you get a better finished product if you paint it apart is all. its just a ton more work. no overspray in the door hinge area and such. if you have an experienced painter it will match perfectly as long as you spray with the same gun, same pressure and same amount of passes. my brother has been doing this for over 30 years so he has all his bases covered in the paint dept. i am really looking forward to monday's painting... i will post finished and assembled pics asap
