Its not the headers that are creating the steering shaft concern. Its the crossmember I used. Its the one that was being sold by a member on here. Im not totally happy with it and will probably modify it before its done. I really want to put the engine more towards the pass side so the driveshaft isnt in a bad angle. Everything is just sitting in the engine bay right now no holes drilled and the crossmember isnt bolted to the frame yet. Is your crossmember a modified one like I have or did you make it yourself.

I made my own crosmember which uses early Mustang motor mounts. The motor isn't centered but offset about 1 inch or so like the original motor.The oil pan is a dual sump from a Fox body Mustang. The front sump oil drain is pretty close to the original crossmember but the drain plug can be removed.
