lowdown
I think i messed up somewhere. I have the 300ZX rotors and put them on my 240Z hub with the spacer. As I was doing it I stripped out one and found a set of 280Z hubs so I figured i'd use them instead. (this was about a year ago when I started) I've tossed out the 240Z hubs and went to put on the 4 piston calliper and it doesn't line up at all, are the 240Z and 280Z hubs a different offset? Looks like I could just take the spacer out and drop it off at a machine shop to get a little taken out of it... Any ideas? Thanks phil
big-phil
yes they are different. Thats funny I just did this convertion for my 280z and need those spacers. I only need the spacer and I can't find a place that sells only that? They sell the whole kit, but I got the callipers from the parts store, and the 300zx rotors at the junkyard. I'll buy those from you if you can find a place that sells just the spacer for your 240z?
lowdown
mine are for the 240Z.... I have 280Z hubs on it cause i stripped my 240Z hubs out overtightening the bolts, so I need the same ones u have. Heck, i may just get these machined. I got these from modern motorsports many years ago.
ShinyRedZ
For the 280Z hubs the spacer needs to be 8mm thick (5/16")
