Dane Posted October 9, 2007 Share Posted October 9, 2007 Today I was driving down the road in my '71 Z. A guy in an S2000 pulls up next to me and looks my car over really quick. The guy gives me a thumbs up and drives off. Little things like that can really make your day. It's kinda funny, I'm an S2000 fan myself. I noticed a minivan in my rearview mirror weaving through traffic quickly. It finally got next to me and it was some guy with a big smile giving a thumbs up. Made my day and gave a wave back. I'm sure they had no idea what kind of car they were looking at, but they knew they liked it. That says something about how our cars have a timeless beauty to them. The night before we had gone out to eat with Austin Hoke. This kid comes outta no where and just went ape 5h!t, kid had no clue. But it was still cool to see that kind of attention to a Z. 80LS1T Posted October 10, 2007 Share Posted October 10, 2007 I had some kid in a old Jetta do that to me just the other day when I was taking a buddy for a ride. He roles up next to me at a stop light and says "man your car is sick as ♥♥♥♥"(his words). I just smiled and said thanks! LOL I seriously can't take my car anywhere without someone saying something nice about it! Really makes all the hard work worth it. Of course it's always nice when an older person says..."man I used to have one of those, sure brings back memories!"
