Went to change the plugs and found white powder in cyl 3 & 5

Not to be the alarmist here, but you might want to keep an eye out for head gasket issues. Usually the coolant will turn to a white flaky build up when it's burnt off.

Yeah but it'll leave a slightly colored buildup on the plugs themselves. Flaky white powder could just be oxidation on the aluminum from the intake manifold flaking off after sitting on the shelf for so long. Or it could be aluminum dust from a compressor wheel eating into the housing.

the powder was actually on top of the coil packs as well as around the rings that the coils sit on. I wish I took a pic but my digi died right as i went to change the plugs and rain was on the way... I cleaned it up and havent had the car running since... so this upcoming weekend it should be running ill pull them again
