Mr.INSANE
make sure the dmv paperwork is up to date. That alone easily cost me $300 dollars extra when i bought mine

spotfitz
For $100 it would be worth it. The parts you could sell would more then pay for it. If you need help picking it up or access to a trailer let me know. I might be interested in the rear bumper off it, depending on the condition. BTW, I may have another free 280Z coming my way.... ihatejoefitz
selling the rear bumper, tail lights, and trim alone should double your investment (including time/gas). I'm seeing window trim going for $200 plus for series one cars now... geeez, these people must be really allergic to junk yards.
Zmanco
geeez, these people must be really allergic to junk yards. That's probably true for some people, but even here in Denver, there are no more early Zs in the JYs. Now and then one comes in, but it's not often and they're usually in horrid condition. And Denver is not exactly a small town ...

jerryb
I guess you need to ask your self if all the work and frustrtion is worth a couple hundred bucks in resell? Better yet ask yourself what you need from this beast. If there are a lot of parts and you have the room...grab it. if not...just buy the few partssomewhere else. Ive been down this road and when it was all said and done I owned a bucket of rust and a bunch of parts that didnt work. Mind you it took me about 8 times to figure it out!! HAHA!
