palauoriginal
F1 spec makes replicas of mugen, recaro and some other seats. was wondering if anyone has used them. alot of the honda guys use them and one of my friends has one in his 240 and its pretty nice. they are in the process of getting their seats certified so they cant be that bad. heres a pic of the type III's their little kidney pads dont look like much but yea. just wondering if anyone uses them... johnc
Probably fine for the street but until they get FIA certification don't race with them.
Lunar240z
Are FIA seats required in most racing? I ask because i might want to make my seats.
johnc
In road racing, yes and no. It depends on the sanctioning body. SCCA and NASA both require FIA certified seats unless you build a seat back mounting brace that attaches the seat (just below the shoulders) to the roll bar/cage. texis30O
this is a seat that I am considering other than the Corbeau A4. I just wonder about the seat brackets and sliders.
SR240Z
they include a set of seat brackets and sliders to use with their seats. They are side mount seats kind of like sparco, bride and recaro too. They are a very good deal.

Tx1021
They are always on ebay for about $500 shipped for the pair. Also if you just google them it'll bring up the main website.
