i need help with my freinds 240z brake upgrade. we installed toyota truck 4 piston calipers, 300zx rotors and a 280zx master cylinder. everything went together smooth with no real problems till brake bleeding time came. i have bled each wheel at least 20 times and get no petal pressure, well i get some pressure if i pump the $hit out of the petal but if you wait more than 5-10 seconds without pumping the brakes and then step on the petal it drops right to the floor. what gives? there is no air in the lines! all parts are new so i dont think its the master cyl or calipers. (but you never know) any suggestions on what to do?..im stumped, and ive done hundreds of brake jobs in the past since i worked in a shop for years. (never done a brake upgrade like this though!)thanks for any help.

You may have problems with the new master cylinder. If they are not completely bled on the bench before install, you may not be able to get the air out of them. You can bleed it on the vehicle of course, but the master must be air-free before the wheels can be bled.
