OEM Surplus Starting to Scrap Parts...

so get what you can get now!!!

If you are not familiar with OEM Surplus Nissan they purchased Nissan's OEM parts for Datsun/Nissan's from the mid 1960's-1980's over 5 years ago when Nissan wanted to scrap the old inventory. If you have ever gone to the dealer and tried to get a part and it was (NLA) No Longer Available, OEM Surplus might have. The best part is that they knock off 40%-90% off the list price. Shipping isn’t bad either.

Anyways I was on there today farting around and seen this:

The scrapping has begun!! We have started at one end of the warehouse in Wisconsin. We will be saving a few select items which are now being determined and scrapping the rest.

Currently we are starting to accumulate a LIST OF ITEMS that are being tossed/burned/dumpstered/scrapped/etc. Visit the scrap list pages through which you can browse and you can then MAKE AN OFFER for any of it. We'll tack on some s/h and it'll be yours!

Thanks again... Norman

If it's your first time visiting OEM Surplus read here: First Time Visitor

They also have a Parts Number Page If you have the part number use Ctrl F from your browser and type in the part number in the Find box and search away.

I have bought many parts from Norman over the years and he is a great guy. I have a feeling that everyone can benefit from this even more.

BTW the Main Page carries other OEM car manufactures parts as well i.e. GM, Ford, Dodge, Toyota to name a few.

Some of those prices are HIGH....I guess I havn't been around the Z cars long enough to know what some of these parts are worth....$600 for a front strut..wow

EvilC, $600 for a strut is what you paid for MSRP back in the day and even today in some cases when you walked into a Nissan Parts Department.

However, as I stated:

The best part is that they knock off 40%-90% off the list[/b'] price. Shipping isn’t bad either.

WOW... Their prices are SKY HIGH!!!!

BJ,

I might not have made it clear. Their prices ARE NOT Sky High!!!

THIS IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE SELLING THEM FOR!! :bonk:

The pricing on all the parts pages is the Nissan Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, otherwise known as MSRP. As we all know, those prices can seem to be quite astronomical. We will be offering substantial discounts off of these prices. The minimum discount offered will be 40% and for many items the discount can get as high as 90%. The way we determine the discount will be based on popularity, demand and availability.

For example I bought a hood for the 810 MSRP was $370.50 I paid $75 that is 80% off the MSRP price!! Besides this hood is NLA from any Nissan Parts Department.

What? I don't see any prices listed. Just MSRP. Says to email for thier pricing unless I missed something.

Evan,

Correct you are here you go, all this info is in the First Time Visitors page as I directed ya'll to check that page out first if you have never been to the site before. :)

So, to obtain a price for something you are interested in, contact us and we'll see what we come up with.

Email Norman at: oem@oem-surplus.com

BTW I'am not getting any kick back on this just passing it along to my fellow Hybridz brothers and sisters. ;)
