RedNeckZ
Just did a major move from Colorado to North Carolina and broke off some of the vent caps on some of my rearends. They are located on the R200 rear cover. I need to find out. Do I have to press or turn them out and were can I get replacements for them? Any help would be great, Thanks. Guest Anonymous
I'm pretty sure they just pull out. After 30 years they may be stuck. Not sure about replacements but it would be a dealer part if they still are available. MArk
blueovalz
They definitly pull out. They are simply pressed into the hole, and to remove them you will need to find a punch of proper diameter and push is out from inside the cover. zcarnut
New vent tubes are still available from the Nissan dealer. You can get either the plastic vent tube or the "unbreakable" metal one used on the later diff's.
