cygnusx1
This is an uphill onramp onto an uphill parkway. Listen how short my 1st gear is with the 200SX tranny behind the L28ET and a 3.54 rear. I have to basically get out of 1st before I can accelerate. This was with the stock injectors so I couldnt rev past 5000rpm or I would lean out at 15psi. For reference, it took me 17 seconds to catch that Volvo that goes by me at the beginning. Uphill!
Gareth
Is your tranny from a S12 Silvia? Is it the FS5W71C, similar to the 280Z tranny? I was planning to do this swap because of the shorter gearing (I'm building a quite powerful NA L28), and now I see that it actually works... Pete84
Wow, what ARE the ratios of the gearbox?
cygnusx1
I have the ratios written down somewhere because I rebuilt it before I put it in the car. I will try to dig them out. It's stock ratio for an early 200SX 4-cyl. The L28 Bell housing needs to be swapped onto the trans. It's a bolt-on.

TrumpetRhapsody
That link was dead at the end. What did you end up finding it came out of? Nice vid. Love watching WOT runs like that.
