fhptom
http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=18079&size=big&cat=500 I was digging around my photo albums and found this oldie. This is my senior year of high school in KY 1980 with my 1972 240. Boy where has the time gone. Tom
V8INtheZ
Haha, old pictures are fun, and depressing sometimes So I guess you dont have that car anymore?
fhptom
Unfortunately I crashed that one my freshmen year at college. Some 20 years later I am back in the game again. Hopefully since all I am doing with this car is track days I will not be crashing it. Tom

Daeron
classic pic man, thanks. My dad has some video that he took in 1989 when he came down here for my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary.. my family was living up in NC at the time, and its so funny to see my uncle showing my dad this "new 240Z that he just picked up." That car sunk to a LOW low before getting sold, getting the spa treatment (and my brothers 82 280ZX engine) then getting rolled over by some family friends. The individual vehicles come and go, but the spirit within remains the same... Kinda like us shaggy, long haired young kids, right?
240Z2NV
I remember my first Z. Didn't know how to drive a stick, and my Dad knew NOTHING about Zs, so I bought it 'blind'. 'Ignorance was bliss'. Might have paid too much for it; but, I LOVED that car! Can't believe how much 'tail I got in it for an 19 year old :~0 I 'learned' to drive stick the hard way [on the drive home from buying it]. My Dad was a 'Baptism By Fire' kind of guy. All in all, I have no regrets. All of my subsequent Zs [five] have been a progression of knowledge, maturity, and FUNDING. I'll ALWAYS love 240Zs!
