i have a 77 280z that ive had for over a year and it has ran perfect ever since. yesterday i decided to powerwash my engine bay cause its filthy (not the first time) but since then my car wouldnt rev past 2200, so i dried out both TPS and AFM, after that the car would rev fine but now my car sputters at idle and when driving. sounds almost like misfiring. i changed the spark plugs/wires already. i kinda have a feeling its the TPS and i wanted to know if theres a way to test it. any advice would help thanks.

Check all your connections for the infamous green corrosion.

You will probably need to get some dielectric grease and place a very small amount on every connection. make sure you don't bridge connections with it or you will have even more issues.

Spray some wd40 in the dizzy it will help dry out the water.

hope that helps
