Guest pmfarrelljr
Anyone who has done the t56 conversion for sbc, how much did they charge to make a driveshaft? I've got a 350 sbc 1st gen with an Lt1 t56 to an r200 rear with 3:90's. Thanks in advance. Paul
nismopick
Welcome to Hybridz! Call up your local driveshaft repair shop & ask for a quote... depending on the complexity and time, prolly $50 - $300.
VinhZXT
I paid $350 with everything new except for the aluminum shaft.
gvincent
$129 balanced with all new u-joints and flanges. South Shore Bearing Quincy MA. do great work and also carry the R-200 flange adaptor. Greg
EvilC
Make sure the shop that does yout DS knows what they are doing. A bend or unbalanced shaft will drive you crazy! Mine still drives me crazy. Vibrations all through the car and be sure your length and angle is correct when getting it made.
