cali bucc
Hey guys. Just Bought my 1976 280z about 2 weeks ago. I have some great ideas so far, I ordered a catalog from motorsport.com but I am having a bit of trouble finding the exact body kit and wheels that I want. Below is a picture of what I want my Z to look like. Can you experts list: 1. The Body Kit on the car all around. 2. The wheel name and size here the pic: thanks!!!! MJLamberson
that really isnt a body kit its an airdam that can be found on msa and its a BRE spoiler, also on msa... I believe the wheels to be konig rewinds, also on msa... there pretty cheap to. and fender mirrors, but if you want those be ready to spend some money... it has ZG flares around the wheels
cali bucc
great lol shows how much I know. Thanks for the help i'll look for the parts in the catalog.
RayG1988
Also, those bumpers are 240z bumpers or early 260z bumpers. Edit: MJ is right, however the rewinds are just knock offs of Wantabe's. I don't know how good they are, what materials they used, or how light they are. They got the design done right though.
ktm
The car in the picture has the following parts: Air dam Spoiler ZG flares Watanabe wheels - or else he managed to get a WIDE Rewind. MSA does not sell the Wats
OlderThanMe
Those are early 240Z bumpers... The later style ones are like the bigger early 260Z style...
Mr.INSANE
Don't forget the Clear Turn Signal Lights

Challenger
Yeah those look like Watanabes, not rewinds.
cali bucc
will the 240z bumper fit my 280z?
MJLamberson
yes it will, search to find out how
MJLamberson
oh, and I still think they are rewinds http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/WWC19/25-1149
Yorgee
Those are definitely not rewinds. Look at the rear lip. If those were rewinds, I would have picked up a set for myself a long time ago. I really want those JDM fender mirrors too.
MJLamberson
I dont see any difference between the wheels I posted and the ones mopar posted, and if you follow the link I gave, the ones I posted are rewinds
ktm
Exactly as Yorgee, mopar and I said, they are most likely Wats. It's the rear lip that gives it away unless he is running a custom set of wide, negative offset Rewinds. Do you not see how the rear wheels have two lips? The spokes are offset back away from the face. The front wheels may look like Rewinds, but it is the rear that gives them away. Rewinds would NOT fill that rear ZG flare out either unless they were spaced out that far. Yorgee, is that your car in your sig? Looks good! MJLamberson
could somebody please photoshop an arrow or something to the lip you guys are talking about? im not seeing it
Yorgee
Hey, thanks Bo, it has been a while. I saw the pictures of your engine bay at Matt's house, it looks cleannnn. It's a bummer someone had to hit you on the freeway though :/.
Yorgee
Rear tire, no way a rewind could meet the ZG flare that nicely.
Challenger
The rewinds dont come in the matte black finish either. (matte is the right term?)
Yorgee
That's true, I'm looking to get new rims and powder coat them that exact color. Too bad the rewinds only go 15 x 7. Need a fatter rim than that. Plus it would make them looks a more like watanabes too. When you don't have 2k to spend on rims.
