wickiewicked240z
Today I was changing oil on the tranny since I have been having trouble with it. I heard grinding in 1 and 2 gear, when I removed the oil plug pieces of metal. They look like the retainer for the bearing about 1/2 long and have the shape of a bearing. So how hard is to replace the bearings and seal and synchros.
Chemicalblue
Its not to bad if you take your time. Lay everything out in order and take pictures when necessary. We calculated that it should only cost $220 to rebuild a s130 tranny. But gear damage is something different, you may be better off with a auto yard replacement. Pete84
What all goes into the price for a rebuild? What parts?
