carl0714
Hey, I bought a 280zx for $300. I thought mine was a good deal it didn't run at all. If its a complete car and some parts are in good shape I would say its a deal. I mean the least you can do is get the parts you want and then take it to the metal processing plant. I'm not sure what scrap metal is going for in your area, but you should be able to get some of your money back. An extra drive train is useful if something should break on your other car. Challenger
If you can get a complete car for $300 or less its a good deal.

woldson
Get the car running well frist. You will learn alot along the way. Try searching for your question. You would think that your question is simple, but their are so many varibles to what your goals are it is difficut to answer.
naviathan
$300 is a good price. Check the typical rust areas first. No point buying it if the frame rails are done in. I paid $450 for a Fairlady that I'm not even sure I can resurrect from the dead. Still going to try though.

ridin_Z_alb
will do. anyone know what i would need (as far as parts go) to switch the engine/man.trans outta the zx and put it into a auto 77 280z? would i need a custom driveshaft? also I read that the 77 comes with a r180 so would swapping out the r200 from the zx be bolt in?
