bianski
Ok the L28 and the L28et have different manifold setups. I was wondering what is the difference besides The webbing. I see all of these vacuum hoses and and regulators and i was wondering what all do or don't i need on the turbo manifold. I see people with bare manifolds and i want one for my turbo conversion like that but I do not know what all to take off.
justinzturbo
i also want to know the answer...is there another manifold that can be used that deletes the egr?
luvmy280zxt
My bud has a 75 non egr manifold on his 82zxt. He also kept his heat shield since there was no longer any webbing.
FlatBlack
Is there another manifold that can be used that deletes the egr? Most people just block off the EGR area with plates. You can do that with any L28 manifold.
thetremendoustim
If you get an early year manifold it won't accommodate for the EGR, however you will have to make sure the ports match up and aren't square. I have a N42 manifold and its pretty handy, just had to block off a couple of the unused vacuums and grab a webbing since I'm not a big fan of heatsoaking.
