silver280zx Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 Ok, i have a 79 S130, and i have ST springs, and sway bars, I run illuminas in the front and i currently have KYB gas-adjust struts in the rear. I have done some adjusting to the illuminas, but i still think the rear feels a little too soft. Are Tokico HP's a little stiffer? johnc Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 Well, since i sell the Tokicos - hell yes, dump the KYBs! Since Tokico no longer makes the Illuminas for the rear of the 280ZX you have to run the HPs. I put together a kit for the 280ZX guys that includes the Illuminas up front, HPs in back, and the Tokico sport springs. Its not something Tokico has in their catalog, I just buy the individual parts and put it together myself. I've sold 8 of those kits and everyone has been really happy.
