jay28 Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 Hi all, I'm having trouble finding somewhere that has a 1mm or 0.6mm head gasket in stock for a l28 motor (f54) block, Found one place "gasket world" that had one but when I gave my address as being in Ireland they never e mailed me back Iv'e been searching and heard alot about felpro but cant find their website. naviathan Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 I thought the felpro gasket was 1.2mm and the only way to get a 1mm was to buy a MLS gasket. jay28 Posted April 18, 2008 Author Share Posted April 18, 2008 Im building a l28 motor at the moment using f54 block, p90 head and flat top and want the smallest gasket I can get to help raise the compression........I seen the one that MSA are selling but thats way too dear for a head gasket....... naviathan Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 Yeah it's an expensive gasket, but it's also going to last you a very long time. Why not just shave the P90 down and use a normal gasket?
