RB26powered74zcar
I wonder if a Z car body (enter year/model) could be made to fit on this brand new C6 chassis? Sure would make for the ultimate street rod... Take a look at this> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320271850806&rd=
m4xwellmurd3r
wheelbase of that chassis is apparently 105.7 inches wheelbase of a Z 90.5 BUT wheelbase of a 2+2 102.6. I think someone should slap a 2+2 onto that chassis
proxlamus©
*cough* Factory Five GTM supercar anyone?! *oops nm.. looks like it uses a C5 not a C6*
Challenger
Ive got a 260z 2+2 body to go on it... just need the money now.
91_4x4runner
I'd rather just find a way to slap a seat and a steering wheel on it. Maybe rig up some lights and get it legalized.... If only it were that easy. Power to weight ratio anyone?
Challenger
Oh yeah, just put a roll bar on it and some fenders, good to go!!! Also how is it held together? Just looks like the driveshaft and exhaust.
cockerstar
There is some SERIOUS potential right there! Is something like that frequently available, or is this a rare happening?

Just looks like the driveshaft and exhaust. it's a torque tube. the driveshaft is inside. if you notice, all suspension components are ALSO a part of that chassis. so basically, the body is just bolted down to that to give it added strength. it's basically like the pan of the Type 1 VW bug. everything is there, except the body
Trevor
I don't see a chassis, just a torque tube holding the engine to the transaxle. It looks like she would also need a frame or unibody to tie the front and rear suspension cradles together..... I'm thinking: http://www.kitcarmag.com/featuredvehicles/0703kc_march_2007_last_chance_garage/photo_02.html
woldson
Holy smokes! Soo much potential.
johnc
Yeah, figure the cost of the chassis plus another $35,000 in build costs plus another $10,000 in development and you're ready to go!
RB26powered74zcar
LOL... I'd like to know who/how the 205 miles got put on it.... (wheres the steering wheel- lol) I think if the price stays fairly low, the winner will have gotten a better deal on the parts that are there. Thats a whole lotta nice new parts there! proxlamus©
yeh I would totally use that for parts and parts only.
boodlefoof
Schram seems to list these for sale pretty frequently. I've seen them up before.
