StrongBad009
My name is Chris and I am a alcoh... I mean Z addict. I have loved Z's since the first time I saw a S130 with a L28ET at a car meet when I was sixteen. Now, 5 years later and after my second deployment on the Nimitz I finally have my Z. My Z which I got from a guy on the Nimitz for $3,200. Its a 1973 with a L28 w/ SU's and a 5-speed already dropped in. Here are some pics. StrongBad009
Well here is what she needs to be road worthy. -First it needs registration and insurence -Exhaust -Front calipers As for future plans, nothing is set in stone but i want to swap a L28et or convert my current engine to turbo. I also want to put coilovers(eventually) and a nice set of sway bars. I am stationed a few hours away from Buttonwillow and they also autocross at a Air Force base nearby. This car is my project but I want to keep it street legal with 275-300 Rwhp.
StrongBad009
When I bought the car it had a bright red 280Z air dam. I will be getting a 240Z air dam in the future so I decided to paint it for the time being. I used rustoleum black and laid 4 coats and i think it came out decent. TrumpetRhapsody
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! :cry2: Say it isn't so! Sorry dude, sure wish you could have held onto it. It seemed like it was in good shape and everything, and you were making progress. Well, maybe next leave you'll have enough saved up to find another one, pre-swapped!
