PETEW Posted November 16, 2001 Share Posted November 16, 2001 How can you tell if a transmission is a NA 5 speed or a Borg Warner 5 speed. I am putting in a turbo motor in my Z and I want to make sure I get a Borg Warner 5 speed. I know it has to be from a ZXT and that Camaro and Mustang trans' won't work. blueovalz Posted November 16, 2001 Share Posted November 16, 2001 I think all the individual pieces of BW transmissions have an emblem of a "BW" on them. It's kinda hard to tell that they are letters at first. And they will be small. If I remember, about 1/4" in size with the part number with it.
