Ferrariferg
I was wondering if there is a way to reprogram the digital speedometer to tell me speeds above 85MPH. I do NOT want to change to analog. I like digital. Thats one of the reasons I liked my car. I just want to know if it is possible and if so how? I also heard somewhere that the speedo will flash 115 if you reach it. Anyone know if that is true?
AK-Z
nope. there was a way to adapt a (I forgot what car) speedo cable adaptor to change the mph speed to display in kph setting.
Brad-ManQ45
JTR has an adapter that reduces the rotation ~.66:1, which if used with slightly taller tires is very close when you set your dash for kph...This adapter is for a T-5 tranny. Guest terrymac22
Hi Brad-ManQ45 I like to show you and other members a coouple of short videos I made in past month, and a couple of Pixs of my 1983 280zx 2+2 with External Speedometer Showing your extended 85+ Mph or Kmp. My 280zx speedo is based on Martin Pot 's 510 truck speedo schematic, except for the 280zx speedo interface and display. High Speed run 9/06/08: Low speed run in 8/08: Speedo Pixz: If anyone wants to build their own speedo martin schematic can be seen at....... http://martybugs.net Terrymac22

Hyuri
A thread discussing this very issue could be found with a bit of a search here. I'd actually forgotten posting in that thread and did search.
