If you click on "User CP" in the top left of your screen, you can see your PM inbox by clicking "List Messages" in the left hand column about halfway down. Or you can click "Private Messages" in the top right of your screen, just under where it says "Welcome Grant33."

I do have a 260Z but it's pretty much just a shell, engine, and drivetrain, nothing in between. Do you have the heart set on a 240Z? or you can do 280Z that looks alot like a 240Z with bumper swap and such. Let me know I can probably hook you up. I do know some locals. Guest Grant33
unfortunately i do have my heart set on 240z. i like them alot more. too bad huh? ive been looking around locally and yes, i can find a 280z all over but rarely a 240z. ive only actually seen 2 and they were at pull a parts and had too much rust for my liking. so ya, im just gonna wait it out till i find one cause i know ill be mad at myself months from now for not getting a 240z and getting a 280z. but if u got any places u can direct me to, im all hears
CrazyZdriver110
A friend here has a 240 and a 280. The 240 has way too much rust, and ant hills in the doors. But the 280 is ok, looked like a 240 when I first seen it because it had no bumpers.
yo2001
There was one from oxford listed on craig's list. 73. Don't know nothing about it though. I personally don't like the 240 tail light as much as I like there later ones. The bumpers are easy swap to make a 280z look just like a 240. 260 is even easier and weight about as much as
Guest RMally
I will be selling my 1973 240Z soon if your interested. It will need some work to make it a daily driver. It will start and run strong, but the clutch has no resistance to it so it hasn't been driven lately. The body is straight with minimal rust for a Z. The floors do have a few holes that can be patched, and the worst is the battery tray area that has been cutaway and needs patching as well. The interior is decent with good vinyl and plastic. It would have to be towed away. Price......$1,300 as is or $1,600 with the new seats. If interested let me know, I'm in Knoxville, TN link to pictures: http://s158.photobucket.com/albums/t119/mally002/
Guest Grant33
it looks very good on the outside, but the inside has a ton of rust. i would try and bargain down the price of it with u but i really dont have 1,300. i have about 500 - 700 to spend on this car if im gonna be able to do all the things i want to do to it. and the dash is in near perfect condition. great plus. thanks for the post though

Guest RMally
Good luck with the car, hope it works out. Just as an FYI, the interior of my car has very little rust, save the two holes in the floor pan, what you are seeing is surface rust that just needs to be sanded off. Be sure on the car your looking at to take a screw driver or ice pick and poke around a little, the floors could look better than they are if the tar mats are still in place, for example here is a shot of my floors after removing the tar and a small amount of grinding, once you get all the tar off it's just a matter of grinding off the surface. Still needs more sanding but you get the idea. Z ya,
