g9m3c
Long story short, I'm about to be buying a 260z, and I want to make sure it will fit in my tiny garage. I need a tip to tail measurement. Can anyone help me out? Thanks! -Grant
rturbo 930
I measured once, and it was something like 175 inches. That's not exact though. Also depends upon if it's an early/late 260z, or if it has bumpers or not. With no bumpers or shocks, it will probably be closer to 170 inches. Those numbers are just from memory though, keep that in mind.
LowCarbZ
I could measure mine but it's got a G-nose front piece. I'll post the measurement up later tonight if I remember to measure when i'm in the shop.
blue72
The specs I've found in the past for the 240Z state 162.8 inch total length and 64.1 inch width.
LowCarbZ
I just came back up from the shop before I forgot: Approx 65" wide by 165" long **with g-nose front end and early 74 rear bumper (smaller). Hope this helps.
g9m3c
Thanks for the help guys. Looks like I'll have a little over a foot in front and behind the car. My truck is 193 inches long, and 74 inches wide. Haha, it wil baaaarely fit in there. I was just worried about the car being that long or longer, I guess it's just the long front end that threw me off.
blue72
Yeah, when you get around to driving it a bit go park it in a grocery store parking lot or something similar. You'd be amazed how tiny the car looks next to something newer like a Pontiac G6 which will seem huge in comparison.

MPD47
They are pretty small, I used to keep mine behind the desk at work and we still had room to operate in the office area.
