I took it off but I,m not sure how to remove the round thingy off the block(the thing the oil filter normaly screws to the block.It looks like it might take a spiecal tool to remove it. also any imput on what adapter to use for the oil cooler? Do you mean the actual round cooler or the bolt thread for the oil filter that comes out the side of the oil cooler fitting? I have attached a photo of the oil filter sandwich plate that allows you to run hoses to a remote cooler and the threaded fitting in the centre that attaches to the filter As you can see I have removed the complete original oil cooler and filter housing Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I removed the whole oil filter/cooler and the new one screws right on.
