philipl Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 Im Performing The R200 Swap On 73 240z And The Donor Car Was A 280z Im Not Sure Of Model Year But The Front Diff Mount On The Underneath Has A Maybe 3/4 Inch Tall Stack Of Metal Plate With A Two Inch Tall Stack Of Plates On One End This Plate Bolts Directly Below Front Diff Mount Just Curious What The Purpose Is For This Plate Thanks............................... It is to be used as an emergency boat anchor...see the Datsun folks figured you were too cheap to buy a spare for your boat, so they provided one with the purchase of a new Datsun.
