Guest MistressMotorsports
Can a stock 225 mm clutch handle a normally aspirated 3.1 liter Z motor that may get very close to 300 hp? If not, what do you guys recommed? Mike Eckhaus
SleeperZ
Certainly not if it's stock. Get a turbo or 2+2 flywheel, and get a good heavy duty clutch for the turbo application. I am using a Centerforce II at that hp level without any problems. If I push it more, it may get weak on me, but so far so good.

Lockjaw
You could get the sports option pressure plate from NISMO, and it will easily handle the power. Costs 250 or so for the plate. Get a wilver colored disc, which has some asbestos in it, and that should work fine.
Guest De Schmaydee
....i think at 300hp it may not be adequate...thats the non-turbo clutch i believe....i bought a centerforce dual friction (got it for $270) and a nismo aluminium flywheel( a hell of a lot more than the clutch)...... (not sure if it aint too much for a 300hp deal)...but hey!...too much is not enough!............s
