FlatBlack
When my tax return comes in I'm going to buy a rusty 280 for $200 this guy is trying to sell me, it has a good L28 in it. I think I might try and do this as well for next summer's project Please keep us updated!
Calico
the motor in that orange datsun is a TBI 4.3 chevy vortec i believe. That isnt a GN engine nor is it a never version l36 or l67.
DRIVEN
I think you are correct. Definitely not a Buick. Definitely a Chevy. Did the OP ever do the swap? I searched and couldn't find anything.
Calico
l67z-Its not an grand nationla motor. I know this because i have a grand national. That tbi motor is a 4.3 vortec motor. I also know this because i was curious about this swap as well since it can bolt in. Im trying to learn about an 280zx/l36/4l60e swap too. Philfree-i would def like to see pics of your car

280zxSheik
Any updates on the swap?
gorillaman2012
Any updates? I know for something like this guy's in Camaros are taking the s/c 3.8 and selling the s/c stuff off of it and putting on a guys turbo setup to overcome the intake issue and also not have to rebuild an n/a motor to handle the 12+ psi of boost getting tossed at these things. Watching the v6 maro hold up if not beat lightly built v8s. Throwing that monster in a 240 would be a scary car to run against..
