jacob80
Hey guys, quick question. We have installed the 60mm 240sx throttle body and it has the little bypass valve for (i'm assuming) idle? I've noticed there is no way for air to get into the manifold while idling other than this. So my question, where do I route this hose off the bottom of the throttle body? To the intercooler piping? jtmny1999
I just plugged mine but yeah I think it goes into the charge pipe.
jacob80
How are you getting air into the intake if you've plugged it? By cracking the throttle body? Is this a bad alternative?
S130Z
If you are talking about the tubes at the bottom of the TB, than that is for coolant to pass through to warm the TB. There is a bump stop type screw on the TB that adjusts how open the TB is at idle. Adjust the screw to open the TB to adjust your idle. jacob80
So adjust the idle with that set screw? What is the hole in the throttle body for then? It looks like a tiny hose would connect to it...whats up with this?
S130Z
That connects to the vacuum advance on your distributor.
