AK-Z
Just for conversation sake, Any one thought of swapping a S2000 engine into a Z?
Roostmonkey
I think it would be nice swap.I have a 2005 S and absolutley love the motor. The lack of any useful torque is something you need to get over.I compare it to riding a 125 2 strokeMX bike. With the 6 speed, and peak power between 6-8 k you need to keep it "on the pipe" to rip.Its relatively quik and would only be better with 4-5 hundred pound lighter Z. rturbo 930
It's already been done. I don't remember his username but I think it was Z2000, try searching for it.
Jesse OBrien
Also note that there are two s2000 motors, the f20c (ap1) and the f22c (ap2).

Z2000
I would recommend the swap to anyone with lots of time and fab skills. Im not gonna lie, it was a pain in the ass to do all the necessary work. But.. The payoff is great! the car is fast, handles great, and gets great gas mileage too.
