madkaw Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 I didn't find much searching mufflers on this site and others. I am looking for a reasonable replacement for a stock 81 280zxt. Maybe some of you guys have found a good source for a stock replacement and want to share that info. I want to find something that doesn't require me to reconfigure the whole system to fit. I guess an adapter is okay if that gets me a better deal on the muffler. I'm not in the postion to buy a SS set up right now, I just need something to get her going. woldson Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 If you just have to "get by", just get something cheap, and make it work in a temp fashion. (bailing wire) This way you will be closer to having enough money to get something that flows better. I will say this about a ss muffler, (mine is a sebring, 2 1/2 in), has lasted for 13 years!!
