Challenger Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 So I have my fuel rail off of my 81 turbo and noticed most of my orings to the fuel injectors are shot, so I was looking into new ones... http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/SFC03D I really dont want to pay $2 for a little o ring. Anyone used a more conventional one from say the hardware store or an auto parts store? Did it work ok, any leaks? Also if I do decide to buy from the oring nazis which do I get, small or large? To be more specific these are the orings that push into the intake manifold and seal the tip of the injectors to the manifold. Any help would be much appreciated! woldson Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 Do at your own risk!!! I replaced mine, lubed them before putting on or replacing, on my honda, using O rings from home depot, years back. calpoly-z Posted May 24, 2009 Share Posted May 24, 2009 You should just be able to get those from your local auto parts store. you may have to got to a couple stores to get all six, but I've found that NAPA or autozone usually have a couple in stock.
