Z32 seats on S30 look and feel GREAT

Recommended Posts

Well, this Afternoon I complete the installation of the 2 seats...

Seat comparison

The S30 seat rail almost fits the Z32 seat, One bolt will fit, altough the another one not. The bolts on the S30 are phillips head and the Z32 are 12mm.

For this bolt, I used a self tapping 3/8" screw

Ready:

I did the same for the other rail and then took the seat and put it into the car, one side will fit correctly

For the other, again, I used the 3/8 screw

Now I have 2 "new" seats!!

Its not a perfect fit, but is cheap, and almost a bolt On

Sorry to be a critique but that small self tapping machine screw is not going to do anything to save your life in case you are involved in an accident.

I am going through alot of pain staking measures to weld and properly modify my seat rails to properly fit a set of aftermarket seats. These types of project are more involved than most think.

I know you are excited to install your new "parts" but safety first.

+1 .. You beet me to it. That install is very unsafe. They'll definately come loose in an accident. Hell they might come loose in a hard corner.
