Dave
I am using a TH350 and the stock Z's automatic shifter. Does any one have a solution for a neutral safety switch. I can't find anything that will easly work and be fool proof. Dave...
Tim240z
Dave, I don't remember exactly, but the JTR manual makes reference to this using a GM switch. If you need me to look it up I can do tonight, or maybe someone has the book handy?! Tim
Dave
I have the JTR manual but the neutral safety backup switch they recommend is for the 700-R4. The shaft for the shift lever on the 700-R4 sticks out so the switch can be installed over it. The TH350 has no room for the 700-R4 switch. will the longer 700-R4 shaft fit the TH350? Dave.... 383 240z
I work in a large tranny shop Let me poke around and see what I can come up with. It may take a few days as we are very busy right now. You are using the stock shifter and a turbo 350 correct? Keith
Guest Anonymous
JTR manual recomends a 1995-1998 S-10 truck or full size truck park-neutral switch and a bracket part #4L60-101 to bolt the switch to the 700R4. in addition to a longer shifter shaft GM#24201166. There may be a problem finding the electrical connector that plugs into the park-neutral switch but that can be overcome by soldering 10 guage wire to the large switch wires
