FlatBlack
There are at least 10 stickies in the MegaSquirt section, including one labeled "For begginers look here first" or something like that. There is plenty of information just in the stickies alone, go check it out.

cygnusx1
Read, read, and read. I have read the manuals, for my specific setup, over 30 times. The more you educate yourself on the system, the more rewarding it will be. What I like about it is that you get out, what you put into it, and you control all aspects of it. onefast87
I am running a MS2 3.57,using the distributor and stock coil on my 87. all it took was a 1k resistor to "find" the cas signal, the rest was straight forward. I bought mine pre assembled from Diyautotune.com. i bought the 3.57 so no more soldering, just jumpers. I have been running my car for 2 years on 10psi no wideband, it has not blown up yet.Its a great system but tons of reading is required to understand everything. im not a master by any means but you can pm me with questions. RUZN
Ok then , I just wanted to make sure the system was fairly reliable. Being a New to the Field Mechanic im always looking to tinker with stuff. So I thought this would be the next best thing for my Z's
DeleriousZ
Go for NisTune. It's 400 AUD (australian) and it's just a chip that gets installed into the stock computer. You're then able to fully tune your fuel and ignition maps, along with a huge amount of other things. http://www.nistune.com
