boostiswhatsfordinner
I have a 1974 260z. I got the car in peices and I'm putting it back together. I searched and I believe this is 260z specific because of the type of ballast resistors used in the 260s. All I need to know is what color wires go to where in both the coil and the resistor. All help will be very much appreciated.
TrumpetRhapsody
Search my build thread for the answer. I know it's in there... I struggled with the same thing on my car early on in the build. I'll look briefly to see if I can find it for you. My thread has many pages lol.
TrumpetRhapsody
Whoops, looks like I made a separate thread about it: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=131362&highlight=ballast There are some pictures in there another member posted of the correct wiring for it. Good luck!
boostiswhatsfordinner
Hell yes!!! She lives. Thanks. Now my tach is pegged. Hmm. This is covered somewhere in here. Search button, here I come.
HowlerMonkey
Make sure your body ground is good. That can cause tach to peg but it's more likely an issue with the tach that other people here are better suited to answer.
